Google Classroom

Google Classroom is a service that simplifies creating, distributing and grading assessments. Using this tool helps keep learners organised and gives users the ability to create and customise assignment materials.

Classroom is part of Google’s G Suite for Education and offers access to a wide range of online apps and tools.

Students are members of the Classroom along with their teacher(s). Teachers can manage the Classroom to share content with students, issue and mark assignments, post important announcements. Students can contact their teacher(s), access their class stream to engage in collaboration and discussion and submit assignments.

Downloading the App for Desktop and Mobile

There are G Suite apps available allowing access from a wide range of devices including mobile devices.

Google apps can be downloaded from the Android or Apple app store.
